These beautiful rings will drive your fingers wild! Made by Bangkok artist “m e r r y m e,” these enamel three-piece accessories can fit together to form an animal doing something cute, or can be worn separately. For example, when worn on three fingers, one set of rings appear to be a squirrel after an acorn.
Rings have been given and received for about 6000 years. The finger on which a ring is worn often has some significance. In many Western cultures an engagement ring is worn on the a hand’s fourth digit, and is then transferred to the other hand after marriage.
I photographed the Space Shuttle Endeavour on its journey to the California Science Center. At first my goal was to take “serious” shots of the shuttle, but the more I photographed, the more I encountered humorous situations along the way.
These images highlight the more humorous side of the Shuttle’s journey.
“Tez Gelmir” from Australia has built lots of projects for his son, but with his daughter’s first birthday coming up he “felt it was her turn to get some project love and what better way than with her own Speeder Bike?!”
The project was inspired by the 74-Z Speeder Bike from Star Wars and if you haven’t seen the movies yet, Tez has an explanation:
“The 74-Z Speeder Bike is best known for its appearance in the 1983 movie, Star Wars: Episode VI: Return of the Jedi. In which Imperial Scout Troopers, on the forest moon of Endor, engage in a vicious chase with Luke Skywalker and Princess Leia Organa after the Rebels commandeered the speeder bikes to pursue their foes,” explains Tez Gelmir.
You can find the entire step-by-step build process on Instructables!
Getting stuck in a bush could happen to anyone, right? But only a Shiba Inu could do it and still pull off that uber-cute smile. What makes the whole thing epic is that precious look on its face!
So, this rare paw-ful bush dog phenomenon happened recently one fine day on Aug 17. Japanese Twitter user @yamamochi223 was having a walk when he caught sight of the Shiba Inu and captured these shots. While the post has since been taken down, we guarantee you won’t be able to un-see these pictures.
